Vacancies For: Assistant Manager- Sales and Manager-Sales in Spine

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Spine Sales to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of surgical products within an assigned territory, with a primary focus on orthopedic and neuro spine surgeons. This role requires a proactive approach to building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, promoting product awareness, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solicit orders, sell surgical products, and represent the company in the assigned territory in alignment with company policies and guidelines.
  • Stay informed about local competitive conditions and provide timely feedback to the manager.
  • Achieve sales objectives and market development goals within the designated sales territory.
  • Assist in sales calls to both existing customers and prospects, with a specific emphasis on orthopedic and neuro spine surgeons.
  • Generate new sales opportunities, develop leads, recruit new surgeons, and qualify prospects through targeted sales efforts.
  • Develop and demonstrate clinical expertise in spinal anatomy, imaging modalities, and proficiency in our company’s spine products.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for each product category and in key target accounts, striving to achieve or surpass territory market share objectives.
  • Prepare and provide surgical case coverage, aiming to deliver optimal value to surgeons, patients, and healthcare facilities.
  • Establish and nurture strong business relationships with prospective and existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the primary backup contact for Sales Representatives when necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Spine products, competitive offerings, and market trends through ongoing education and training programs.
  • Deliver high-quality on-call service to existing customers, addressing their needs and inquiries promptly.
  • Manage consignment and loaner inventory effectively, catering to the surgical requirements of the territory and region.
  • Oversee and maintain a sample inventory of products, ensuring availability as needed.
  • Assist in collecting Purchase Orders and managing customer invoicing processes.
  • Handle customer complaints in accordance with company policies, promptly notifying the Sales Manager and relevant stakeholders of any escalated issues.
  • Support in the preparation and execution of conventions and clinical meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven success in sales, preferably within the medical device industry.
  • Thorough understanding of spinal anatomy and surgical procedures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and nurture strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
